Karen Halligan

Karen currently holds a senior role at KPMG in the firms Customer, Brand and Marketing team. After many years in agencies, 3 years ago Karen made the jump from her role as the Managing Director of Zenithmedia into the consulting arena and has not looked back. Karen joined KPMG as the Practice Leader for the firms Media Advisory which she launched, over the last few years Karen and her team have helped clients with driving efficiency and effectiveness from their marketing budgets and enhancing KPMG clients approach to marketing measurement.

With over 25 years’ experience in the Media and Marketing industry Karen has held senior positions in Media Agency, Client and Media Owner organisations, working with some of the country’s largest brands including Coca-Cola, Coles, Procter and Gamble, ALDI supermarkets, Reckitt Benckiser, to name a just a few.

In addition to her work at KPMG Karen is proud to be on the board of UnLtd, UnLtd is a social purpose organisation connecting the media, marketing and creative industry with charities working with at-risk youth.

After many years in the media industry Karen’s love for the media and marketing industry continues and as a result she writes articles, participates in industry conferences, mentors a number of executives and in 2019 she personally established the International Woman’s day “ Up and Comer Lunch” that is now an annual event.
