Shivani Maharaj

Shivani has more than 16 years’ experience working across integrated media channels. For the past 15 years she has worked at GroupM and brought creativity to media for many brands. She is fascinated with creativity and technology, and passionate about driving innovation and new thinking.​

Throughout Shivani’s career, she has won a number of awards for her work, including multiple Media Federation of Australia Awards, winning in the media Game Changer of the Year category at the AREA Awards and being named a winner in the Media Agency​ category in B&T’s 30 under 30 awards. More recently, Shivani was named one of the Top 40 Women to Watch by Campaign Asia as well as being shortlisted for Creative Captain.

Shivani is a founding member of the Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AimCo), and part of its Guiding Council.

AIMCO is an alliance of Australian companies engaged in influencer marketing working together to elevate best practice and address industry trust and transparency issues. As a member of the Guiding Council Shivani has overseen the development of an Influencer Marketing Code Of Practice, which is being implemented across the industry.
