Julie Laycock is the General Manager Customer & Insights for 7-Eleven Stores Pty. Ltd. 7-Eleven is an Australian owned convenience store retailer, established in 1977 currently operating almost 750 stores across the eastern seaboard and WA. Julie joined 7-Eleven in 2005, originally responsible for all elements of the customer offer, transforming the brand across insights, merchandise, and marketing. As part of the agile transformation in 2021, Julie became the lead for the Customer Tribe whose purpose is to design, create and communicate extraordinary 7-Eleven Customer Experiences. Alongside leading the Insights Centre of Excellence to create and embed an insights driven culture. Julie was proud to be recognised in 2022 as one of the Top 20 CMO’s in Australia. Prior to 7-Eleven, she spent 15 years working in the UK within the food retailing industry at Tesco Stores, Coco-Cola Enterprises and Red Bull.
